Once eligible EXPORT students are re-certified, the IMPORT TELO funds the students in the TE system. The funding action updates the continuing student’s record, so families can confirm progress on their 2024-2025 college funding options.

Funding is a long-standing option in the current system. In the past, many TELOs did not complete the funding process, however, for this year, the funding step must be completed.
Why?
If a student is not funded, the student may not transfer correctly to the new TE system, and if the student does not transfer, a new TE application will be required from the student after July 1. Therefore, please don’t be the reason an otherwise eligible student is not funded for the 2024-2025 school year.
Suzanne and I are monitoring all facets of the current TE system as we move toward having dependable data to transfer to the new TE system. If TE Central is required to complete any part of a school’s re-certification or funding, an administrative fee of $50.00 per action type will be charged. We will re-certify and fund any remaining students beginning June 6 and email you the invoice for the work that TE Central completed on your behalf.
