TE EZ-Application: A How-To Guide for Families

Students seeking Tuition Exchange Scholarships or FACHEX (Jesuit institutions only) must complete the TE EZ-Application. The TE EZ-Application is for eligible families and their dependent(s).  Not sure if you qualify? Contact your Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer or FACHEX Administrator directly.

Please take 15 minutes to review the TE EZ-Application Podcast. It will be 15-20 minutes well spent, which may make all the difference in your ability to secure a Tuition Exchange Scholarship!

Applying for Tuition Exchange or FACHEX Scholarship Consideration is a Two-Step Process:

1. The student must first create an account. Please see Instructions Here.

2. Student completes the TE EZ-Application.  Please see How-to-Complete Your TE EZ-Application first.

Please note the following:

  • The student MUST select his/her parent's employer from a drop-down menu when creating the TE EZ-Application.   If your student does not find your EMPLOYER listed, you need to contact your employer for the next steps.
  • DO NOT use the TE EZ-Application to apply for Tuition Remission if your dependent is attending the institution at which you are employed.
  • The student can list up to ten colleges/universities on his/her TE EZ-Application.  If the student is no longer interested in a college, he/she can go back to the TE EZ-Application and remove a school and add another; however, there is currently a maximum of ten active schools permitted.
  • If the eligible parent is no longer working at the school where the TE scholarship was approved and is now working at a new TE school. Visit directly with the new employer for eligibility. A new TE-EZ Application is required, assuming the dependent is eligible for TE consideration in the eyes of the new employer.
  • The application includes Personal and Identifiable Information (PII). TE Central cannot make corrections to the application. The student must make all corrections.
  • Tuition Exchange also supports the FACHEX (Jesuit institutions) scholarship program. If you are employed at a participating FACHEX school, the TE EZ-Application is also used to apply for FACHEX Scholarships. If you have questions about the FACHEX program, please contact your FACHEX Administrator directly.
