Answering Questions and Providing Solutions

We recognize that students today are looking for a broad range of choices.  At Tuition Exchange, we have a school for everyone. Tuition Exchange, Inc. is an established and internationally recognized student exchange program working for 63 years with more than 672 regional, national and international institutions of higher education.  The Tuition Exchange staff has a combined knowledge level of 79 years of experience as higher educational professionals.

Tuition Exchange provides our members the flexibility to create and manage their programs.  Member schools have the ability to craft program guidelines that fit each employee population.  Our membership roster includes undergraduate, graduate, as well as unique regionally and nationally accredited programs offering options not found in other exchange programs.

Tuition Exchange has just a couple of rules that apply to all members.  The first rule is that member schools are obligated to provide full tuition or the annual set-rate, whichever is less.  The TE set rate is $35,000 for 2017-18 and for 2018-19 the set rate is $36,000.  We also have some publicly funded schools.  Public school members are obligated to provide full tuition award to in-state Tuition Exchange recipients or the out-of-state Tuition Exchange scholar with ½ tuition based on the out-of-state tuition rate. Our second rule is maintaining a five-year balance of Tuition Exchange students.  What this means is that schools are expected to offer and enroll a number equal or close to the number of exported students.  You set your goal for exports and imports.  Tuition Exchange does not!  Each school names their Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer, who is ultimately responsible for the management of your campus TE Program.

Tuition Exchange works best when Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Human Resources work together.  Each office is responsible in their way for enrollment.  When these offices work in concert, our schools and most importantly your employees are highly satisfied with their jobs and their working environment.

Our Membership Services division provides a wealth of educational opportunities, examples to help schools start off on the right foot and on-going monthly webinars focused on the questions and needs of our Tuition Exchange Liaison Officers.  We offer up to three in-person workshops annually at a variety of locations across the United States.  For 2017-18, in-person training locations will be in in or close to Baltimore, Tampa and Oklahoma City.  Training events are a part of your annual dues (transportation and lodging are the responsibility of the attendee).

Our website is robust, organic and a wonderful source of information for families interested in Tuition Exchange, member schools seeking suggestions and solutions, or potential member schools looking for more details.  Please visit us at www.TuitionExchange.org.   A list of our current members is available under the Families tab.  Inside our Potential Membership tab is a podcast webinar Tuition Exchange - Answering Questions and Providing Solutions designed to answer any possible questions as well as the booklet titled – Tuition Exchange Answering Questions and Providing Solutions.   I believe you will find these tools beneficial in determining why Tuition Exchange is the best choice of your school and employees.
